Loco_motive started in fall as an avantgarde project by Mayo-Stripe and Ku-ku-gu, two music lovers from Tampere, Finland. After hearing Mayo's 3 cd's as "Ohut Majoneesijuova", Ku-ku-gu wanted to join in. The name "Loco_motive" was found after twoweeks .

The rest of the album is great in parts (ie 'Reng Ding a Dong' and 'Loco-Motive'), though the last track is, as another reviewer here writes, a disappointment. But this album was my soundtrack to the summer of I wore out side 1 of the LP, and I searched in vain for another Passport album which approached the excellence of this/5(14).

Two songs are clearly in the instrumental Alan Parsons Project vein with "Sky Blue" and "Loco-Motive". "Mandrake" sounds like typical Passport of the time, but the album is not perfect as I felt "Louisiana" is too close to smooth jazz, and the Brazilian-influenced "Alegria" (which could have easily fit on their previous album) seems a bit tacky.

End of LOCO-MOTIVE has shot an official video clip for the recorded E.P. title track “Driven to fall” and currently the band is recording a full album. From the start (end of ) LOCO-MOTIVE has been working on her own songs, distinctive sound and groove. Music you can feel throughout.
