This is another one of the early Pink Floyd albums that was also prog rock material, with its mix of long strange sounding tracks "Set The Controls For The Heart of The Sun" and title track and funny weird songs like " Corporal Clegg". I had this years ago on vinyl LP and now its on Cd/5().

'A Saucerful Of Secrets' was among the first to be released this way so it's not quite an exact reproduction and is far less complete than later reissues (i.e. 'Dark Side Of The Moon' and afterwards).

Pink Floyd released their debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, in August Work began on A Saucerful of Secrets in the same month, at EMI Studios in London, with producer Norman Smith.
